The Way Life Is Sometimes

THE WAY LIFE IS SOMETIMES

Life is not always perfect
Sometimes we go through things
And we don't know why

Like the time my father passed on
Like the time I lost her love
Like the time I felt my life was done

So I wonder why the Lord
Lets us go on with these times
Sometimes it's just the way life is
Just the way life is sometimes
But all and all the Lord keeps us here

Like the accident I had with one thousand fractures
Life now a broken knee foot hip and two wrists
Life now hoping to be able to make tomorrow

So what is life with the Lord
Even all the pain and troublesome that goes on in our life
Sometimes I wonder if it's worth it all
Even sometimes I wish the Lord would come and end the troublesome

So I think and pray to the Lord
Help me go on with these times
Sometimes it's just the way life is
Just the way life is sometimes
But all and all the Lord kept me here

Why sometimes I don't understand
But I know His love the Lord is to be above all
Sometimes it's hard but life must go on
Even though it's hard I must keep trusting in my Lord
